Drexel Interview

The Drexel InterView is an award-winning half-hour television series hosted by Paula Marantz Cohen, best-selling author, critic, and Dean of the Pennoni Honors College at Drexel University. The Drexel InterView is made available to Public Broadcasting Stations, American Public Television, community access stations, and university/college television stations throughout the U.S and Canada. Selected episodes may also be seen on YouTube.

The Drexel InterView, a program of the Center for Cultural Media in the Pennoni Honors College at Drexel University, had its debut in 2004 when the university decided to make the most of the many important figures who pass through Philadelphia each year. Paula Marantz Cohen, also a Distinguished Professor of English whose experience in research and writing spans a variety of fields, volunteered to serve as host. Producers Eric Mondgock and Brian Kantorek recruit guests, coordinate production logistics, and see the program through to broadcast distribution.

Each episode of The Drexel InterView features a half-hour conversation with a nationally known or emerging talent in arts, culture, science, or business. Approximately one dozen guests each season reflect a diversity of opinions and backgrounds. The series is now in its twelfth season; more than 150 programs have been produced to date. The show has won numerous awards from the Philadelphia Press Association.
